Booktalking for teens seems to be generating a bit of discussion these days. Should we bother? Of course. Should we use booktalks in our lessons? Absolutely! - School Library Journal, 2007

Below you will find a collection of some great resources to find Digital Booktalks and Book Trailers. There are many resources out there that are already created for us to use with our library media programs and lessons. Digital booktalks and trailers can be shown in your libraries or broadcast across the schools video distribution center. It is a wonderful way to create excitement for reading in your school. 	This site can be a bit tricky to find on their site. Once at the Barnes&Noble website you will click on the tab at the top of the page titled B&N Studio. Then in the middle of the page you will click on Book Trailers. 	YouTube is a vast resource. You will find both booktalks as well as Book trailers. You can search with the book title + booktalk to help narrow your surch. Warning...this site may be blocked within your district. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=booktalks
	This site takes a unique approach to the booktalk. They not only will talk about one book, but will also look at books that cover a theme. A book is shared each day, but they also have a a wonderful archive. Along with the booktalks for each theme, there is a list of other books that file the theme. http://www.bookwink.com/index.html
	This is a great wikispaces that has many student created booktalks created using a website called VoiceThread. http://classroombooktalk.wikispaces.com/
	Resembling YouTube, TeacherTube is a great resource for teachers. It contains both teacher and student created materials.
